The iNtegrate 2 Executive Steering Committee (ESC) continues to work with Project Leadership and representatives from Workday and implementation consultant Sierra-Cedar Inc. (SCI) to recommend to Chancellor Klaich and the Board of Regents our best approach for ensuring a successful Workday implementation.
In addition to a number of meetings involving the ESC, Workday and SCI, the Project’s Team Leads and key campus Designees met April 26 with the ESC, and Workday and SCI representatives. A final recommendation to the Chancellor and Board of Regents is still under development.
As those discussions continue, work on the Project moves forward. To ensure that we’re making progress and are in the best position to achieve a high–quality Project implementation, the Project recently released the following target dates for key upcoming milestones:
- July 27: HRMS data frozen in preparation of upcoming data conversions.
- Aug. 21: All data conversions to be completed.
- Aug. 22: Conversion extracts will be run and validated.
- Sept 9: Design configuration will be frozen in preparation for the P2 build.
- Sept. 12: P2 build to begin.
- Oct. 17: End-to-End Testing to begin (projected). End-to-Ending Testing will test all of our Business Processes to confirm that notifications, approvals, accounting, information, etc., flow as expected and work correctly.
We appreciate the Project Team’s commitment and continued hard work as the ESC, Workday and SCI move toward making a recommendation to the Chancellor and Board of Regents for a final decision.
