The Project Team and implementation consultants Sierra-Cedar, Inc. are finalizing a comprehensive testing plan for NSHE’s second Workday prototype (P2). P2 will employ data from all of NSHE’s institutions to test the System’s new common business processes against NSHE real world examples. Testing will also inform the Team in devising training strategies. Individuals chosen from a broad cross-section of functional areas at every institution will play a key role in putting P2 through its paces. Their findings, along with discoveries from other testing aspects, will help in configuring Workday by raising issues and concerns before Workday is released for use to the institutions. Thorough testing is a complex, painstaking process, but it’s a critical step in confirming that Workday is properly configured to work for everyone at NSHE and its member institutions.
