While organizations configure their systems to fit their unique needs, they all run the same version of Workday. Having a single code base allows Workday to focus on refining and innovating one product, and it means that NSHE gets the benefit of new features without having to pay for upgrades. This weekend, Workday will roll out its latest version, Workday 27, which includes new functionality for activities like budget management and compensation. Even though NSHE won’t start using it until October 2017, the Project’s implementation tenants (the prototypes and working copies used in building NSHE’s Workday configuration) will be updated to this latest release. So while Nevada enjoys a stunning late-summer weekend, Workday will be busy adding new features that NSHE will be able to take full advantage of next year.
